Travelling to Leiden
Visitors arriving by plane at Schiphol airport can take the train to Leiden. Trains depart regularly (every 10 mins) from platform 5 or 6 and the trip takes about 20 minutes.
Train tickets
A one-way ticket costs € 5.60. At Schiphol, ticket machines accept credit cards but they charge € 0.5 extra. At Leiden train station, only Maestro cards and coins are accepted.
